The Vision and Origin


The inspiration for Prayer Connect was birthed in the heart of Pastor Stephen Afolabi in 2020 while reading the book of Luke 1:9-13. The scripture recounts how Zachariah, the priest of Almighty God, entered the temple to offer sacrifice while the congregation prayed outside. It was in that exact moment of corporate alignment and priestly duty that the angel of the Lord appeared to declare his answered prayer.

From this divine blueprint, God established Prayer Connect as a sacred altar where believers praying in unity can touch heaven and receive definite answers from God.


Our Humble Beginnings


When Prayer Connect first launched, it started with a consecrated company of 7 individuals who stood together in a 7-day fast and prayer. We honor the pioneer intercessors who laid this spiritual foundation:


It was through this initial commitment that God confirmed His mandate to use this ministry of intercession to reach the nations. What began with a small group has now grown into a global family of intercessors spanning across the world, united in the power of prayer.

Today, Prayer Connect is held bi-monthly. To maintain an atmosphere of focused dedication and accountability, each participant is required to formally register for the program.
